Night Terror

Night Terror is a thriller about a housewife named Carol Turney who is traveling alone at night between Phoenix and Denver. While stopping to ask for directions, she accidentally witnesses the murder of a police officer. The killer discovers her presence, leading to a tense pursuit as she attempts to escape her pursuer on the road.

The film was produced by NBC and Charles Fries Productions, with a screenplay by Carl Gabler and Richard DeNeut. It stars Valerie Harper in the lead role, alongside Richard Romanus, Nicholas Pryor, John Quade, Michael Tolan, and Beatrice Manley. E.W. Swackhamer directed the movie, which was released in 1977. This production followed his work on Spider-Man and preceded his 1980 film Reward.
