Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- is a theatrical compilation drawn from the anime series. Tanjiro Kamado became a demon slayer after his family was killed, hoping to restore his younger sister Nezuko to humanity. He and his companions Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira join Tengen Uzui, one of the highest-ranked members of the Demon Slayer Corps, on a mission in the Entertainment District. There they face the powerful high-ranking demons Daki and Gyutaro. The film presents the closing chapters of that battle along with additional footage, and continues into the beginning of the Swordsmith Village arc, as the surviving upper-ranked demons gather following the outcome of the Entertainment District fight.

Haruo Sotozaki directed, and the voice cast includes Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro, Akari Kito as Nezuko, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu, Katsuyuki Konishi as Tengen Uzui and Miyuki Sawashiro as Daki. Made by ufotable with TOHO and Aniplex, the film arrived in 2023 as the seventh of fifteen features Sotozaki has directed, between Asakusa Arc and Entertainment District Decisive Battle Arc. Released in February 2023, it took in roughly 56 million USD worldwide and runs 115 minutes. On IMDb it holds 7.7/10 from about 17,000 votes and on TMDB 7.3/10 from over 400, while the critics' rating stands at 6.4/10 from eight reviews, a narrower and more reserved sample than the audience scores.
