Revolver Lily

Set in 1924, this action film follows Yuri, a former spy who killed 57 people before hiding her identity as the owner of a small brothel. Her life changes when she meets an orphan whose family was killed. This child possesses information necessary to locate a large amount of money that disappeared from the Imperial Japanese Army. Together, they must fight to stay alive while being hunted by a force of soldiers.

The movie was directed by Isao Yukisada, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Tatsuo Kobayashi. Within the director's career, this production follows his 2018 film River's Edge and precedes his 2025 project Kaede.
