Shoshana

Set in Tel Aviv during the British Mandate, this historical thriller follows British police officer Thomas Wilkin and his colleague Geoffrey Morton as they search for Avraham Stern, a poet and Zionist activist plotting against British authority. Amidst the political instability and rising violence of the 1930s, Wilkin enters a romantic relationship with Shoshana Borochov, the daughter of a socialist Zionist leader. The narrative explores the tension between colonial forces and those fighting for a Jewish state in a region defined by conflict.

The film was directed by Michael Winterbottom, marking the 15th production in his career following The Wedding Guest. The screenplay was written by Laurence Coriat, Paul Viragh, and Winterbottom. The cast features Douglas Booth, Harry Melling, and Irina Starshenbaum, with a total of 51 credited performers.
