Ella is a successful interior designer who enjoys a luxurious home and a supportive marriage. Despite her happiness, she faces social pressure and judgment from those around her because she does not want children. As she approaches her 38th birthday, Ella decides to participate in an experimental medical trial designed to address her lack of maternal desire. While the treatment appears to be effective, it gradually triggers aggressive behavior and paranoia.
