New Jack City

Nino Brown has built a drug empire in New York through the Cash Money Brothers, a gang that sells crack and earns enormous sums every week. Nino treats the business as a route to wealth and respectability, expanding his operation while pushing residents out of their homes to create production sites. The police struggle to make progress against him until a detective, Scotty Appleton, works his way inside the organisation as a dealer. Nino's confidence that nothing can touch him meets an opponent who has seen the damage of drugs at close range.
