Breach of Faith: A Family of Cops II follows Paul Fein, a police commissioner whose grown children have all joined the force. The family becomes involved in the murder of a priest, an investigation that leads them to the Russian mafia. Paul's inquiry takes him into the neighbourhood where he grew up, and the deeper he digs, the more dangerous the case becomes for those close to him. The mob, its dealings touching the church, turns its attention to the Feins and tries to push them away from the case.
Charles Bronson plays Paul Fein, with Angela Featherstone as Jackie, Barbara Williams as Kate, Sebastian Spence as Eddie, Kim Weeks as Anna Meyer and Diane Ladd as Aunt Shelly. David Greene directed the television film from a screenplay by Joel Blasberg, produced by John Ryan for Trimark Pictures. It was the fourth feature Greene directed, arriving after The Count of Monte-Cristo, Lucan and Sweet Revenge, and it runs ninety-two minutes.
The film drew modest responses: on IMDb it holds a rating of 5.3 from 894 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.3 from 34 votes, a small sample that points to a limited audience for this Canadian-American television production. The twenty-two credited cast members and the crime-drama format place it squarely in the small-screen thriller tradition of its time.
