Hours of Ours

Hours of Ours is a documentary centered on the relationship between a Thai filmmaker and a Sudanese family living in exile in Bangkok. After returning home from ten years abroad, Komtouch Napattaloong befriends the Ibrahim family as they endure a six-year period of uncertainty while waiting for the chance to relocate. Over time, the director and the family develop a close bond and collaborate to create a film together.

Directed by Komtouch Napattaloong, this project marks the first in a sequence of films including No Exorcism Film and In Sum. Napattaloong also served as a producer on the production alongside Noorahaya Lahtee. The film was produced through a partnership between Purin Pictures, Whitelight Productions, and The Tan Ean Kiam Foundation-SGIFF Southeast Asian-Documentary. Released on February 22, 2024, the documentary has a total runtime of 84 minutes.
