Life's A Beach

This Italian comedy follows Pio, a passive lawyer living in Treviso who is attempting to run for mayor. His structured life is disrupted when a local priest assigns him a personal driver named Amedeo, a former prisoner with rough manners and a prejudiced outlook. Despite their stark differences, the two men discover unexpected commonalities. Through his relationship with Amedeo, Pio begins to uncover truths about his family and reconnects with his own passions in a process of personal reconciliation.

The film was directed by Gennaro Nunziante, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Pio D'Antini and Amedeo Grieco. This project follows Nunziante's previous films Cado dalle nubi, What a Beautiful Day, Sun in Buckets, and Where Am I Going?, and precedes his 2025 releases Buen Camino and I Am the End of the World. The cast features Pio D'Antini and Amedeo Grieco in lead roles, alongside Francesca Valtorta, Nicola Rignanese, Christina Andrea Rosamilia, and Claudio Bigagli.
