It Happens in the Best of Families

This Italian comedy follows three siblings who reunite after the death of their father. As they gather for their mother's second wedding, the family's stability is shaken. Davide, who has always felt like the least successful member of his household, must navigate family secrets and unexpected complications. Through these conflicts, he seeks a way to prove his own value and sincerity to his relatives.

The film was directed by Alessandro Siani, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Fabio Bonifacci. This project is the third in Siani's directing timeline, following The Unlikely Prince and Mister Happiness, and preceding We Need to Talk. Siani stars as Davide Di Rienzo, appearing alongside Cristiana Capotondi, Dino Abbrescia, Anna Galiena, Antonio Catania, and Euridice Axén. The production was handled by RAI Cinema and Italian International Film.
