The Pout-Pout Fish

Mr. Fish lives in a decaying shipwreck, where he clashes with Pip, an energetic young sea dragon who treats the home like a junkyard. After a fierce argument leaves both of their dwellings destroyed, the unlikely pair team up to find a mythical entity known as Shimmer. They hope a wish from this creature will restore their homes, but they are not the only ones searching for it.

This animated adventure comedy was directed by Ricard Cussó, following his work on six previous films, including The Wishmas Tree and Mission Santa: Yoyo To The Rescue. The production was a collaboration between companies from Germany, Australia, and the United States. The voice cast features Nick Offerman as Mr. Fish, Nina Oyama as Pip, Miranda Otto as Marin, and Jordin Sparks as Shimmer, with Amy Sedaris voicing three different dolphins.

The film had a budget of 10 million USD and earned 5 million USD at the worldwide box office, meaning it did not recover its production costs. On TMDB, the movie holds a rating of 5.2/10 based on 17 votes.
