My Other Jon

Merche is a 76-year-old woman who learns she has very little time left to live. Because her failing health prevents her from traveling to see the ocean one last time, she agrees to an experimental medical procedure. This process allows her soul to enter the body of a deceased man, a Basque truck driver named Jon, for three days. Through this transformation, she is able to travel to the island of La Palma to spend time with her daughter and fulfill her final wish.

The film was written and directed by Paco Arango, following his 2017 film The Healer. The comedy stars Carmen Maura in the role of Merche and Fernando Albizu as Jon. The movie has a runtime of 124 minutes. On TMDB, the film holds a rating of 7.2/10 based on 13 votes.
