Wish Comes True

Xiaofei is an optimistic young woman who was left by her mother. She discovers a machine capable of granting wishes and develops a close relationship with Wai, a man living with a rare medical condition. As Xiaofei attempts to locate a former lover of Wai, the pair learns that a new treatment for his illness does not work. Despite these hardships, they rely on their mutual support and hope to face their circumstances.

This Hong Kong drama was directed by Ram Ling Chi-Man, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Katniss Cheng Tung. It is the first of two films listed in the director's career, preceding I Want to Be Rich. The production was handled by One Cool Film Production and Sil-Metropole Organisation, with Tony Leung Hung-Wah and Tang Wai-But serving as producers. The film was released on October 24, 2024.
