In this Ukrainian comedy-drama, a teacher named Nadia organizes an LGBTQ+ acceptance program to help her family escape financial instability. To receive government funding, her prejudiced family agrees to host an activist and spend time with various group members, including a beer enthusiast, an actress, and an aggressive man. Through a series of humorous games and social interactions, the family members confront their own homophobia and explore concepts of gender discrimination, equality, and empathy.
The film was directed by Arkadii Nepytaliuk, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Lyudmyla Tymoshenko. Produced by Solar Media Entertainment and based on a play by Ihor Bilytsia, the story focuses on the tension and eventual understanding that develops within a small provincial setting.
