About the Beginning

Set in the Balkans, this drama with science fiction elements follows Anna as she travels by car with her longtime friend Armando, an aspiring video blogger. While Anna reflects on the nature and longevity of friendship and tests her own intuition, she crosses paths with Goran, a well-known actor struggling with a personal crisis. This short meeting triggers a mysterious vision for Goran, leading him to seek out a quiet man known as H, who may possess the answers to his problems.

The film was directed and produced by Amulio José Espinosa and was released on October 28, 2023. It is a co-production between Mexico and Finland through the company Fearless Pinecone. The movie has a runtime of 85 minutes and features a cast including Arnolda Noir, Frano Mašković, Armando Alvarado, and César Julio Ortega. Other appearing actors include Pau Zabaleta and Jaakko Kiljunen.
