Entroncamento

Entroncamento is a crime drama set in a town where loyalty, greed, and violence define the streets. The story follows Laura, who moves to the area seeking a fresh start away from a turbulent past. However, the allure of easy money and criminal activity quickly pulls her back into old habits. As Laura connects with disillusioned youth who share her struggles, she and those around her must decide if they can pursue honest lives or if they will succumb to the temptations of the underworld.

The film was directed by Pedro Cabeleira, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Diogo dos Santos Figueira. This joint production between Portugal and France was produced by Kometa Films, Les Alchimistes, and OPTEC Filmes. The cast features Ana Vilaça in the lead role of Laura, alongside Cleo Diára, Rafael Morais, Tiago Costa, Sérgio Coragem, and André Simões. In total, 41 actors are credited in the production. With a runtime of 131 minutes, the movie explores the conflict between personal redemption and the cycle of crime.
