Set at the close of the twentieth century, this drama follows a complicated romantic circle involving Emma, Sammy, and Cyril. While their intertwined affections could have led to a traditional love story, the emergence of AIDS disrupts their lives. As the characters face the prospect of death, medical intervention leads to unexpected turns in their fates, forcing them to contemplate how to embrace a second chance at life.
