No Way Back

Set in modern-day Nice, this French comedy-drama follows Laura, a mother raising her daughter alone after escaping a volatile relationship with a man named Joachim. Her quiet life is interrupted when Shirine, Joachim's current partner, arrives seeking help following an accident. Upon realizing they have both suffered under the same abusive influence, the two women form an unexpected alliance to support one another and move past the harm caused by the same man.

The film was written and directed by Nathalie Najem, marking her second feature following Baby Love from 2016.
