Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is an Indian action thriller set in Sokulapalem, a village with a reputation for housing former convicts. Its central figure is Surya, an insurance agent who has promised his dying mother that he will keep his temper in check. He holds to that vow for six days of the week, writing down the names of everyone who provokes him in a careful ledger, and permits himself to act on his anger only on Saturdays, and only when the grievance is genuinely justified. A tragedy pulls him into conflict with Dayanand, a merciless police officer whose own rage has no such restraints, and the two men are set on a collision course.
Vivek Athreya directed the film and wrote its screenplay, following his 2022 feature Ante... Sundaraniki! Nani plays Surya, with S. J. Suryah as Dayanand, Priyanka Arul Mohan as Charulatha, Sai Kumar, Murali Sharma and Aditi Balan among the supporting cast. DVV Entertainment produced, with DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari as producers. Made on a budget of about 7 million USD, it took roughly 12 million USD worldwide, a solid return on its cost.
On TMDB it holds a rating of 6.7 out of 10 from a small pool of 43 votes, so the score reflects a limited sample rather than a broad consensus. Running 172 minutes, the film belongs to the action and thriller genres.
