Short description
An American actor living in Tokyo struggles to find professional success and a sense of purpose. He eventually finds employment with a Japanese agency that provides rental family members for people in need of specific roles. By portraying various figures, such as a father or a journalist, for strangers, he begins to develop authentic emotional connections. This experience leads him to question the morality of his work while discovering a new feeling of belonging and the value of human relationships.
