The Rules of Art

A luxury watch expert named Yonathan lives a repetitive existence until he meets Eric, a charismatic fraudster who deals in stolen items. Entranced by this new lifestyle, Yonathan becomes increasingly involved in illegal activities. The situation escalates with the arrival of Jo, a skilled thief. Together, the three men carry out a bold 2010 heist at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, where they steal five paintings by Modigliani, Matisse, and Picasso.

The film was directed by Dominique Baumard, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Benjamin Charbit.
