We Treat Women Too Well

Set in the autumn of 1945, this comedy follows Remedios Buendía, a woman deeply committed to her homeland and personal values. The conflict arises when a group of fleeing partisans attempts to seize a post office. At the time of the takeover, Remedios is in the middle of trying on her wedding dress, leading to a confrontation where she must determine how far she is willing to go to resist the armed rebels.

Directed by Clara Bilbao and written by Miguel Barros, the film is a joint production between Spain and France. The cast features Carmen Machi in the lead role as Remedios Buendía, alongside Antonio de la Torre, Luis Tosar, Isak Férriz, Óscar Ladoire, and Julián Villagrán.
