Umalta's Gold

Set in the Khabarovsk region near the Umalta River shortly before the 1917 revolution, this adventure drama follows the aftermath of a heist. Masked robbers attack a convoy, killing the guards and stealing a large quantity of gold. A gold miner from St. Petersburg, who loses his savings in the theft, blames a nomadic Tungus tribe for the crime. To recover his wealth and seek revenge, he travels to Khabarovsk to assemble a group of mercenaries, though he is not the only person interested in the stolen treasure.

Directed by Andrey Bogatyrev, this film follows his previous works Red Ghost and Za Palycha!. The movie was written by Olga Pogodina-Kuzmina and produced by Elena Dementova and Alexey Telnov. It stars Pavel Derevyanko in the role of Kuzma. Produced by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Okko Studios, First Channel, and Studio Lendoc, the film has a runtime of 114 minutes.
