Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training-

This Japanese animated film combines the conclusion of a previous story arc with the start of a new one. It features the end of the fight between Tanjiro and Hantengu, as well as Nezuko's victory over the sun. The plot then shifts to the preparation for a final conflict against Muzan Kibutsuji. To strengthen the demon hunters, the Hashira organize an intense training program. Tanjiro works specifically with the Stone Hashira, Himejima, to improve his skills while Muzan searches for Ubuyashiki and Nezuko.

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, this project is the ninth of 15 films he has directed. It follows the 2023 release Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Entertainment District Decisive Battle Arc and precedes the 2025 film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. The screenplay was written by Koyoharu Gotouge. The voice cast includes Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro Kamado, Akari Kito as Nezuko Kamado, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke Hashibira, Tomokazu Sugita as Gyomei Himejima, and Kenichi Suzumura as Obanai Iguro.

Produced by ufotable, Aniplex, and Shueisha, the movie earned 44 million USD worldwide. It holds a rating of 6.5/10 on TMDB based on 495 votes. Film critics gave the movie a higher score of 7.2/10 based on 15 reviews.
