The Old Bachelor

Set in an Iran facing economic hardship, this drama thriller follows two middle-aged brothers living under the rule of their aggressive and chauvinistic father. The father, whose behavior previously drove away his second wife, now targets his eldest son with abuse, while the younger brother harbors violent fantasies about killing him. Tension rises when the father rents an upstairs apartment to a young woman he hopes to marry. However, her attraction to the older son pushes the fractured family toward a breaking point.
