Short description

Set in Majunga, Madagascar, during December 1976, this story follows a widower named Ali during a three-day uprising. As violent clashes break out between different community groups, Ali struggles to keep his young daughters safe amidst the sudden chaos.

This twenty-seven minute production blends documentary and drama elements. It was written and directed by Hachimiya Ahamada and produced by The Blue Raincoat and Aurora Films in Belgium and Madagascar. The lead role of Ali was played by Soeuf Elbadawi. The film was released on January 26, 2024.
