Oasis

Oasis is a Chilean documentary that examines the national effort to establish a new constitution starting in 2019. Over a period of three years, the film follows a diverse group of activists involved in the democratic protest movement, including feminists, conservatives, anarchists, and representatives of indigenous peoples. It provides a broad perspective on the social and legal conflicts surrounding this political transition.

The film was produced by Mapa Fílmico de un País and written by Catalina Alarcón, Josefina Buschmann, and Royerliz García. It was directed by a large group including Felipe Morgado, Tamara Uribe, and the MAFI Collective, among others. For some of the directors, this project followed previous works; for example, Antonio Luco directed Beaverland in 2014, and Felipe Morgado directed Here and Everywhere in 2018. Others, such as Alba Gaviraghi and Thomas Woodroffe, went on to direct films in 2026. The production was managed by producers Diego Pino and Alba Gaviraghi. The final runtime of the documentary is 80 minutes.
