Tied Up is an animated film about Mac, a luxury necktie who finds himself discarded in a trash bin. While there, he encounters a group of other discarded objects, including a broken vase, a spool of thread, a boot with gum on its sole, and an air freshener bottle. In contrast, the other items seek a destination known as Paradise, where they believe their deepest wishes can be granted.
The movie was directed by Konstantin Bronzit, following his previous works The Three Sisters and Moonzy: Homecoming. The screenplay was written by Dmitry Vysotsky, Konstantin Bronzit, and Aron Dunn. Produced by Cinema Fund, MetraFilms, and Lakeside Animation, this co-production between Russia and Canada features a voice cast including Andrey Levin, Andrey Zaytsev, Yuliya Rudina, Anton Vinogradov, and Mikhail Khrustalev, among 29 credited cast members. The film has a runtime of 83 minutes.
