Old Cans is a Czech comedy and drama about two high school friends, Petr and Michal, whose lives have diverged significantly over time. While one has achieved financial stability with a family and a professional career, the other remains a solitary figure struggling with artistic goals. Despite these differences, the two men maintain their bond through a shared interest in graffiti.
The film was directed by Tomáš Vorel, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Sany and appears in the cast as Petr Kocourek. This production follows Vorel's previous work, The Can, released in 2007. The ensemble cast includes Jiří Mádl as Michal Kolman, along with Jan Kraus, Zuzana Bydžovská, Kristýna Leichtová, and Diana Dulínková.
