The Eichmann Trial is a historical documentary focused on the capture and subsequent prosecution of Adolf Eichmann. After hiding in Argentina following the end of World War II, the former Nazi officer was apprehended in May 1960 and put on trial in 1961. Using rare archival footage, the film examines the legal proceedings and how the trial helped revive global awareness and education regarding the Holocaust.
The film was directed and produced by Elliot Levitt for the American production company Banality, LLC. It features archive footage of Adolf Eichmann appearing as himself. Released on October 22, 2025, the documentary has a total runtime of 102 minutes.
