Short description

Shoes and Hooves is a Hungarian animated short film about Paula, a centaur who struggles with her identity and the desire to fit in. While working as a pedicurist in a small town, she wishes she had human feet. Her life changes when she falls in love with Arnold, a man who is a crocodile. This relationship forces Paula to confront her own desires and the internal conflict between conforming to expectations and accepting her true nature.

The film was directed by Viktória Traub and produced by Pi Productions, Solaz Media Produkciós Kft., and Paprika Studios. It was released on May 7, 2025, with a total runtime of 15 minutes.
