Nasty is a documentary about the tennis career of Ilie Năstase, focusing on 1972 as a pivotal year when he won the US Open and reached the finals of the Davis Cup and Wimbledon. The screenplay was written by Giurgiu and Cristian Pascariu. The production, a Romanian project by HBO Max and Libra Film, features appearances by Ilie Năstase and other prominent tennis players, including Björn Borg, Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, and Stan Smith, along with businessman Ion Țiriac.
