Subedaar

Subedaar is an Indian action crime drama about Arjun Maurya, a retired Subedaar struggling to adapt to civilian life. While dealing with the grief of loss and a strained relationship with his daughter, his peace is disrupted by a reckless event. To protect his home and family, he must confront internal enemies and rediscover his warrior instincts to fight a personal war.

The film was directed by Suresh Triveni, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Prajwal Chandrashekar. This production followed his earlier 2026 film, Maa Behen. It was produced by Vikram Malhotra, Suresh Triveni, and Anil Kapoor through a collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios, Abundantia Entertainment, Opening Image, and Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network.

The cast features Anil Kapoor in the title role, appearing alongside Radhika Madan, Aditya Rawal, Saurabh Shukla, Mona Singh, and Faisal Malik. The production involved 32 credited cast members and 48 credited crew members. With a runtime of 142 minutes, the movie was released on March 5, 2026.
