When a volcano erupts on the island of Đảo Chuông, a young woman named Anya struggles to convince her father, Nobu, to abandon his temple and his long-held belief in the legend of Baovelanh. Following a conflict that leaves Nobu injured and unable to protect their home, he urges his daughter to escape. Instead, Anya sacrifices herself by ringing a gong to save her father. This act leads her to a crystal cave where she transforms into the creature from the legend, allowing her to freeze the lava and save the island.

This French animated fantasy short film has a runtime of five minutes. It was produced by ESMA and directed by a team including Jocelyn Bournerie, Sacha Ismail, Cyril Rabatel, Elodie Delune, Elina Roux, Eva Philis, Eléonore Lacour, Fanny Georges, and Blandine Cottin. The film was released on April 1, 2024.
