Goodbye, My Friend

Étienne is a reserved man who spent his youth being tormented by a peer named Jean-Pat. When he discovers that his former bully has died, he does not feel grief. However, he finds himself in the awkward position of organizing the funeral for his childhood enemy. Because the deceased man's mother believes the two were close friends, Étienne feels compelled to pretend he is mourning while arranging the ceremony.
