BloodRayne: The Third Reich

BloodRayne: The Third Reich follows Rayne, a dhampir born of both human and vampire blood, who joins the fight against the Nazis in Europe during World War II. She comes up against Ekart Brand, a Nazi commander whose plan is to inject Hitler with her blood, turning him into an immortal being. Rayne sides with resistance fighters, among them Nathaniel and Magda, while Brand's scheme threatens to unleash something far worse. The film is based on the BloodRayne video game series.

Uwe Boll directed, working from a screenplay by Michael Nachoff. The film is the eleventh of the twenty features Boll has directed in chronological order, coming after Rampage and before In the Name of the King 2: Two Worlds. Natassia Malthe plays Rayne, with Brendan Fletcher as Nathaniel Gregor and Michael Paré as Commandant Ekart Brand. Clint Howard and Annett Culp also appear.

Made for a budget of 10 million dollars across German, Canadian and American production companies, the film runs 79 minutes. Audience response has been weak: on IMDb it holds a rating of 3 out of 10 from around 7,200 votes, and on TMDB a rating of 3.8 out of 10 from roughly 251 votes. The two scores sit close together, indicating a similarly negative reception among the viewers who have rated it on both platforms.
