Snake Skin Beauty

Li Nian is a specialist who repairs corpses for a living. While visiting a deserted village, he stitches together a headless female body, unknowingly allowing a hydra demon named Xiaomei to inhabit the skin and return to life. As a series of gruesome murders involving withered victims begins to plague the town, Li Nian and his wife welcome Xiaomei into their home, believing she is an orphan. The demon then uses the kindness of the household to manipulate the couple and seduce Li Nian.

This 2024 Chinese production blends horror, fantasy, and thriller elements. It was directed by Wang Xinhao, who also directed Ancient Building Town Mausoleum Palace earlier that same year.
