The film examines how water skiing eventually transitioned into the modern era of wakeboarding, highlighting the key figures who shaped the progression of these activities.

The film was directed by Petr Barabaka, appearing as the first of two works listed for the director in 2024, preceding Non-Silk Road. It was produced by Dmitry Litvinov, Maksim Balakhovskiy, and Makar Kozhukhov, with production handled by TNT Premier Studios, Eastside Documentary, and ID Production. Released on April 25, 2024, in Russia, the documentary has a total runtime of 67 minutes.
