A Real Donkey Day

A Real Donkey Day is a short animated film about a small donkey named Peke, who sets off on an adventure when he takes part in a lively birthday celebration. The story centers on Peke's experience of the festivities and the journey that comes with them.

The film runs six minutes and was released in April 2024. It was directed by Artturi Olavi Rostén, who also wrote the screenplay and served as producer, making it a project shaped largely by one person. It was produced by Soft Insomnia Pictures. The film is part of Rostén's body of animated work and is aimed at a young audience, with a simple premise built around a character and a single festive event rather than a large-scale narrative.
