My World, Your Melody

This animated short features a choir of tropical frogs singing pop music. The film utilizes a bright, digital visual style that mimics the experience of using mobile devices and karaoke videos. Through this colorful presentation, the story addresses the theme of ecological collapse.

Directed and written by Bianca Shonee Arroyo-Kreimes, who also provided the voice work, the film is the first in a chronological list of two works by the filmmaker. Produced in Canada by the National Film Board of Canada, the project was released on May 7, 2024, with a runtime of two minutes. Maral Mohammadian served as the producer.
