Only Day and Night

Only Day and Night is a Polish documentary that explores the experience of isolation during a pandemic lockdown. As physical contact becomes severely restricted, the film follows a director who connects with various people through online conversations. These individuals, all confined to their own homes, share their internal struggles and emotional states. Through these digital interactions, the participants and the filmmaker examine themes of love and the fear of death, finding a sense of emotional openness despite their solitude.

The film was directed and written by Grzegorz Brzozowski and produced by Natalia Grzegorzek. It was produced by several companies, including PISF, Studio Orka, and Canal+ Polska. Released on May 26, 2024, the documentary has a total runtime of 69 minutes.
