Gill

The story follows a boy named Gon who develops gills on his body while on the brink of death, a change that allows him to survive. He is rescued by Kang-ha and his grandfather, and the three form an unconventional family unit. As Gon remains isolated from society, Kang-ha manages his life with a mix of strictness and a desire to protect him, eventually encouraging the boy to venture into the wider world.

This South Korean animated fantasy drama was directed by Ahn Jae-huun, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Seo Hae-in and Kim Joo-an. The production was handled by Namu Animation and Meditation With a Pencil. The voice cast features Jung Hae-in as Gon and Kang Ha-neul as Kang-ha, with Lee Chung-ah, Yoo Jae-myung, and Kim Sun-young providing further voices for the supporting characters. The film has a total runtime of 106 minutes.
