Catch the Dog If You Can

An unsuccessful writer named Boris works as a sales consultant for his partner, Alina. When the couple and their daughter, Lusha, attend a New Year's carnival hosted by a businessman named Amiantov, a rivalry develops between the two men. While the family is away, their dog Christie becomes the target of thieves searching for a stolen ancient Egyptian ring. The jewelry was hidden in food shared between Christie and a stray dog named Caruso, who attempts to protect her from the criminals.

Directed by Anna Kurbatova, this comedy is the second of four films she directed between 2024 and 2026. It follows her work on Mom Is 17 Again and precedes My Wild Friend and its 2026 sequel. The movie features a cast including Polina Ainutdinova, Natalya Chistyakova-Ionova, Anton Bogdanov, and Konstantin Kryukov. Produced in Russia by Start Studio, All Media Company, and Smart Film, the film has a runtime of 96 minutes.
