A lifelong supporter of a Washington D.C. football team, Donick Cary grew up with a passion for the franchise passed down from his father. His perspective changes when his nine-year-old son, Otis, asks if the team's Native American logo and name are racist. To find an answer, the father and son travel across the United States to discuss the issue with Native Americans, including government officials, authors, and teenagers living in the Pine Ridge reservation.
This comedy documentary was written and directed by Donick Cary, following his 2020 film Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics. Produced by Joshua Neuman, the film features Donick and Otis Cary appearing as themselves. The cast includes Deb Haaland, Irene Bedard, Taboo, and Graham Greene, who provides the voice for Dan Snyder. A total of 26 cast members are credited in the 87-minute production, which was a joint effort between production companies in Canada and the United States.
