This Argentinian documentary explores the creative process of Mondongo, a pair of artists who develop a project based on Johannes Itten's treatise regarding the use of color. Parallel to this artistic endeavor, a filmmaker works on crafting a portrait of the duo.
The film was written and directed by Mariano Llinás, who also appears in the cast alongside Manuel Mendanha, Juliana Laffitte, Agustín Mendilaharzu, and Gabriela Siracusano. Within the chronology of Llinás's work, this production follows Mondongo II: Portrait of Mondongo and Mondongo III: Kunst der Farbe, both released in 2024, and precedes the 2026 film Life of Jorge Luis Borges. The movie was produced by El Pampero Cine and ArtHaus and has a total runtime of 73 minutes.
