Fortune

Fortune is a blend of comedy, documentary, and drama set in the tourist heart of Paris. The story follows Ruben, a man in his late twenties who has spent several years living in a secluded hideaway after failing to establish himself in the city. During a stifling August heatwave, the oppressive conditions force him to leave his isolation and re-emerge into the world.

Written, produced, and directed by Robin Zimmer, this project marks the first entry in the director's listed filmography, followed by Mauvais Payeurs in 2026. Zimmer also stars in the lead role as Ruben. The supporting cast includes Thomas Ducasse as L'ami, Hugo Behar-Thinieres as l'inconnu, and Marie Espinosa as La pêcheuse. The French production has a total runtime of 20 minutes.
