Javier and Carlota have not seen each other for decades, but they are reunited by the news that their children, Óscar and Julia, intend to marry. The parents are outraged by this decision, believing that young people in 2025 should avoid exclusive, traditional relationships in favor of more diverse experiences. Despite the efforts of various friends and family members, Javier and Carlota employ various schemes to stop the wedding. Their attempts to interfere create chaos as the couple, who hold more liberal views on love and sex than their parents, approaches their wedding date.
