Green Line

Green Line is a documentary that examines the intersection of collective history and personal memory. The film begins by using animated miniatures to depict Fida's childhood during a time of war. It then transitions into a documentary format, featuring actual encounters between Fida and former militiamen who interact with those same small figures. By moving between different time periods and realities, the film uses these miniatures as a tool to connect individual perspectives with a broader historical narrative, resulting in a cathartic experience for those involved.

The film was directed by Sylvie Ballyot, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Fida Bizri. A joint production between Lebanon and France, the project was produced by TS Productions, XBO films, and Films de Force Majeure, with Céline Loiseau serving as producer. Released on February 18, 2026, the film has a runtime of 150 minutes.
