Honeymoon

Set in a small town near Kyiv, this drama thriller begins on February 23, 2022. Taras and Olia have just moved into their first shared apartment when they are awakened at dawn by explosions. Unable to escape the city, the couple becomes trapped in their home after Russian troops occupy the building and establish a headquarters there. For five days, the pair must hide in silence without water, electricity, or phone service. While facing mortal danger, they confront existential questions and explore the depths of their intimacy.

The film was directed and written by Zhanna Ozirna, following her 2016 work Alive and Undefeated. The main cast features Roman Lutskyi as Taras and Irina Nirsha as Olia, with voice performances by Romanna Lobach, Semen Rozenman, Mykola Kyi, and Kostyantyn Mykhno. Produced by Dmytro Sukhanov and Toy Cinema, the movie has a runtime of 84 minutes.
