Ride Away

Mathias and Philippe are longtime friends who travel by bicycle from the Atlantic coast to the Black Sea. This journey follows the exact route previously taken by Mathias's son, Youri, who died in a tragedy. As they cross Europe, the two men face various challenges, using humor and affection to cope with their grief and celebrate life.

This French production was directed by Mathias Mlekuz, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Philippe Rebbot. It is the first of two films directed by Mlekuz, preceding Mon fils président.
